Submission Guidelines
Please paste all story submissions onto our submission form. Hypersonic Tales will be read by a general audience, therefore explicit content may not be suitable for the webzine. We accept short stories from 1,000 to 5,000 words. Please query first if your submission is any longer. We will gladly include any links to the author's personal web page along with a short (one or two paragraphs) bio.
"Launch Pad" submissions, for people ages 16 and under, should be 1,000 words or fewer. We may also accept cartoon or comic strip-style submissions for this feature.
We also will be accepting cover art submissions.
If accepted your story or comic strip will be paid $5.00. Payment for cover art will be negotiable. We require one-time use rights for a period of 12 months after initial publication.
Submission guidelines may change at the discretion of the editors.
